Referral Reward Program – Fraud & Abuse Prevention Policy (Addendum)

1. Verification of Referrals
- Points are awarded only after the patient has completed payment, undergone the scan, and a valid radiology report has been issued.
- The referring doctor/nurse must be recorded in the system at the point of registration.
- Each referral is subject to cross-checking with patient records.
2. Eligibility Controls
- Only licensed doctors (Medical & Dental Council) and registered nurses (Nursing & Midwifery Council) are eligible.
- GDC staff members are strictly excluded from earning points.
- Self-referrals (doctors/nurses referring themselves or family repeatedly) will be reviewed and may be disqualified.
3. Limits & Expiry
- Points must be redeemed within three (3) months of allocation; unused points automatically expire.
- Redemption is limited to once per quarter per participant.
- Points are non-cash, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for discounts.
4. Oversight & Audit
- Monthly reconciliation by Maxwell (Operational Coordinator).
- System verification & reporting by Francis (Technical Coordinator).
- Quarterly audit checks by Accounts/Internal Audit to detect abuse or inconsistencies.
5. Fraud Prevention
- Referral claims must be supported by a referral note or request form.
- No retroactive claims will be accepted (after the patient has already been scanned).
- Patients may be randomly asked at registration to confirm their referring doctor/nurse.
6. Disqualification & Penalties
- Any fraudulent, unethical, or manipulated referral will result in immediate disqualification from the program.
- Grace Diagnostic Centre reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation of any doctor/nurse found abusing the program.
